3.2 Managing User Roles

User roles determine what actions users can perform on the platform. Here’s an overview of the key roles and how to assign them:

  1. Content Editor:
    • Can create, edit, and publish content.
    • Cannot approve content (unless also assigned as an approver).
    • To assign this role:
      • Go to the user’s profile in the Users section.
      • Select Content Editor from the role dropdown menu.
      • Save the changes.
  2. Content Approver:
    • Can review and approve content before it is published.
    • To assign this role:
      • Go to the user’s profile in the Users section.
      • Select Content Approver from the role dropdown menu.
      • Save the changes.
  3. Combining Roles:
    • Users can have multiple roles (e.g., Content Editor and Approver).
    • To assign multiple roles:
      • Go to the user’s profile.
      • Select all applicable roles from the dropdown menu.
      • Save the changes.
