Notifications alert users to new posts, comments, and reminders. Here’s how to configure them:

  1. Types of Notifications:
    • Email Notifications: Sent to users’ email addresses.
    • In-App Notifications: Displayed within the Cohesiveness platform.
    • Push Notifications: Sent to users’ mobile devices (if the platform supports a mobile app).
  2. Setting Notification Preferences:
    • To configure notification preferences:
      1. Go to your Profile by clicking on your name or profile picture in the top-right corner of the platform.
      2. Select Notification Settings.
      3. Choose your preferred notification types (e.g., email, in-app, push).
      4. Save your changes.
  3. Channel-Specific Notifications:
    • You can configure notifications for specific channels to ensure users are alerted to important updates.
    • To set channel-specific notifications:
      1. Go to the Channels section and select the channel you want to configure.
      2. Click on Settings and then Notifications.
      3. Choose the notification types and frequency for the channel.
      4. Save your changes.
